The 2021 nominated winner has been selected by the Jury out of a number of participants from Egypt,
Jordan, Algeria and Syria, who thankfully submitted the applications at the end of December 2021. The
decision of the Jury members was based on the fact that Eman's art works "own a sort of peculiarity
reflected in the simplicity and serenity of the composition, despite her reliance on a mixture of multiple techniques that combine photography, drawing, engraving and printmaking. in addition to adopting the experimental side in her use of graphic arts while applying on canvas. She sometimes achieves success by meddling with chance"

Eman Husain Mustafa (b. 1989) holds Bachelor of Fine Arts degree (major: printmaking), Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt. She states that her current works came about after: •researching Ancient Egypt, the sets of symbols it shares with all other Eastern civilizations, and in particular the concept of the Anahata -the heart chakra flowing by the Metatorn Cube. "Husain notes "we are part of something larger. we are interconnected within an intricate web of relationships extending through life and the universe", and concludes that: *Past, present and future are not dichotomies, but parts of a natural continuation" The Jury members would like to extend their appreciation and gratitude to all the artists who submitted their works to the 7th year of the Award, with a special congrats to the winner.
Nasiri Studio has the pleasure to recommence the Annual Award for Graphic Arts following the cancellation of the previous year (2020) due to the restrictive measures of the COVID-19 crises. Therefore, and in view of the ongoing Covid-19 restrictions, the celebration of the Award will be virtual. The art works will be duly published on line on the Rafa Nasiri Annual Award for Graphic Arts on FACEBOOK The Award prize will also be transferred on line.
